The pros are coming to
Sparta for the third annual Pro Tennis Classic at the Lake
Mohawk Tennis Club on Sunday, September 26. As part of a full weekend of
festivities in Sparta, the Sparta Athletic Club is proud to host a free Junior
Tennis Clinic at its club on Saturday, September 25 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
The clinic will be highlighted by appearances from
professional players.
This free clinic will feature many of the event’s stars
assisting club pros with instructions and demonstrations. The Junior Tennis
Clinic is open to all children between 10-18 years of age who are interested in
learning about the sport of tennis from internationally renowned professionals.

complete required paperwork and confirm a position.
Join Jim Courier, Mikael Pernfors and other
lprofessional tennis players on Sunday, September 26 for the
second annual Newton Motorsports Pro Tennis Classic at the Lake Mohawk Tennis Club.
This unprecedented event will benefit the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation for
improvements and upgrades to its Maternity Unit and Women’s Health Initiative.

the separate Pro-Am, which offers a limited number of lucky patrons the
once-in-a-lifetime chance to play with and learn from touring professional
tennis players, along with photo and autograph opportunities. This package
offers one playing spot in the Pro Am, as well as reserved seats for two to the
event.

The Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation, the
philanthropic arm of Newton Memorial Hospital, exists to serve the present and
future health and wellness needs of our community and beyond, as defined by
Newton Memorial Hospital. Proceeds from the event will go to expand services
and add equipment to Newton Memorial Hospital to better serve the needs of
residents who rely on the Hospital for their healthcare needs. Funds raised
will be used on improvements and upgrades to the Newton Memorial Hospital
Maternity Unit and Women’s Health Initiative.
